Sunday 2nd July 2023 Thirteenth Sunday in Ordinary Time
Let Go and Let Flow (The Valley of Darkness)
Jesus, you are the good shepherd who keeps me safe.
You encourage me when life is difficult.
Sometimes I feel as though I am in a valley of darkness,
and your presence is hard to perceive.
May I hear your loving voice calling me by name and inviting me to trust.
Amen.
Weekly Wisdom (Gospel Reflections for June) (2023)
The Lord God, ruler of all, merciful and loving.
Good Night, God! (Simple Evening Prayers) (Edition 3)
Heavenly Light, your love shone through me as I endured the lows of today. But you give me new hope each day. Be with me in the dark tonight, lighting up my spirit with renewed energy yet peace, as I rest my body in your care. May tomorrow bring calm and quiet as I meet the challenges ahead. Amen.
Good Morning, God! (Simple Morning Prayers) (Edition 4)
Good morning God!
Thank you for my life, for the good days and the not-so-good days.
Your presence sustains me in my being.
Stay with me as I meet the day with hope and strength from you.
Be with me always, clothe me in your love and in your healing. Amen.
Let Go and Let Flow (Soar Like an Eagle)
Jesus, in coming to this earth, you experienced suffering and weakness.
My body is changing, and it all seems a little surreal. Strengthen me in my journey;
may my soul soar like an eagle, even as I experience the frailty of my humanity.
Weekly Wisdom (Gospel Reflections for May) (2023)
You are very special, chosen by your Creator God.

Good Morning, God! (Simple Morning Prayers) (Edition 3)

Let Go and Let Flow (Have Courage)
I PREPARE MY HEART
Pause for a moment . . .
Sit up in your bed with a straight back.
(You may need nursing staff to assist you with pillows to ensure you are comfortable)
Lay your legs out straight, toes pointing up, towards the ceiling.
Take a deep breath in, and as you breathe in, flex your right leg, and point your toes
horizontally, towards the opposite wall. As you breathe out, relax your leg and bring
your toes upwards, pointing towards the ceiling. (repeat)
Now do the same with your left leg,
breathing in and out as you flex and point your toes.
Place your hands in your lap, palms facing up, ready for prayer.
